S&S Express: New Year New You!



Happy New Year everyone! Welcome! We're coming to you with a brand spankin new video podcast talking about new year resolutions. Everyone usually says "I wanna loose weight" and then heads to the gym that first week or so. Weeks later (if that) they'll find themselves back on the couch watching tv for hours with doritos or something. Boo! not this year. This year we want you to join us on reaching for a BETTER YOU! We're stepping our game up and want you to step it up as well. What are your new year resolutions? It can be fitness related or not - up to you but we want to hear from you!   1. My NY Resolution is never weight loss or fitness related... because those seem to be an instant set up for failure! I guess my ultimate resolution is to stop procrastinating. No more waiting until later, or until tomorrow. I want to get things done now! This relates to my work life, fitness life and home life.

    I do have some fitness goals in mind: I want to finish the P90x Classic - which should be in early March. I also want to train for a 1/2 marathon.

    Great goal! i'm really great at procastinating too :) My friend just sent me quote that said "No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up." and I feel like that's a pretty good mantra.

    I ran my first 1/2 marathon 2 years ago and it was such a rewarding experience. That year my goal was to lose weight but to make that attainable i signed up for a 1/2 marathon and trained for it... it worked :) So good luck and we'll be talking about running on our blog too.
